Description
At the heart of our Communist Party, the Fièr·es et Révolutionnaires (Proud and Revolutionary) commission comes together to take part in the struggle for social justice and against all forms of oppression.
Throughout the year, this commission stands on the front line, championing LGBTQI+ demands and amplifying the fight for a more just and inclusive world.
Founded in a resolutely revolutionary spirit, the Fièr·es et Révolutionnaires commission of the French Communist Party (PCF) works to dismantle discriminatory social norms and promote an environment where everyone can live and thrive, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or intersex status.
At the core of its demands, the commission stresses the need for inclusive education aimed at raising awareness within society about the realities and challenges faced by LGBTQI+ people. It also calls for stronger anti-discrimination legislation, asserting that only social justice can truly lead to an egalitarian society. It further emphasizes the importance of training for all individuals in positions of authority or in roles involving public interaction.
A key moment in our commitment is Pride Month, which provides an opportunity for the Fièr·es et Révolutionnaires commission to deploy its activist efforts.
The commission and its allies aim to organize events, debates, training sessions, and awareness-raising activities to foster a collective dynamic in favor of equality.
The objective is clear: to make the voices of minorities heard and to defend their rights, with the ambition of transforming society as a whole.
Beyond the festivities, the commission highlights the importance of not losing sight of the critical issues that persist. Access to healthcare, recognition of queer families, and the fight against violence against LGBTQI+ people remain top priorities. The same applies to the effective enforcement of rights, including ending mutilations and forced treatments carried out on intersex children. The Fièr·es et Révolutionnaires commission thus seeks to place these issues at the center of political and social debates, insisting on the need for a profound transformation of our institutions.
