La Terreirada – The Fusion of Brazilian Cultures
La Terreirada is a French-Brazilian cultural association based in Paris, dedicated to promoting Brazilian culture in France and fostering intercultural exchanges between Brazil and France.
Our mission is to showcase the richness and diversity of Brazilian cultural expressions while encouraging dialogue with the many cultures present in France. Through cinema, photography, visual arts, literature, music, dance, performing arts, and gastronomy, we create spaces for encounter, sharing, and artistic creation that are open to all audiences.
The association develops a regular cultural program including film screenings, film clubs, exhibitions, concerts, performances, artistic workshops, professional networking events, and festive gatherings. These activities aim to increase the visibility of Brazilian artists, support the circulation of artistic works, and encourage mutual cultural discovery.
La Terreirada also places special emphasis on social inclusion and diversity. It welcomes and supports a wide range of audiences, including people with migrant backgrounds, emerging artists, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community, in a spirit of respect, solidarity, and openness.
Through its initiatives, La Terreirada establishes itself as a platform for cultural dissemination, artistic cooperation, and community engagement, where Brazilian traditions, contemporary creations, and culinary heritage are shared and celebrated with both French and Brazilian audiences.
